"I lost my dog's vaccination card, so we are not sure, but we think he should have been vaccinated 6 months ago. Will we be in trouble if we ring to ask for a new card? What will happen next time we take him in to be vaccinated?"

Your vet will probably happily provide you with a replacement card but it's not going to be worth much until you get his vaccinations up to date.

Because it's been longer than 14 months since his last vaccination, he will have to start again with an initial vaccination course.
